Rocky River is a very challenging golf course that utilizes many of the existing features of the area to provide a natural and very aesthetically appealing track. The routing flows through the existing contours of the land effortlessly, thus creating a continuous succession of sensational holes. Large contoured greens make accurate iron play a necessity, for a ball played to the side of the green, opposite the hole, will result in higher scores. Playing the course from tee to green at a 4 1/2 hour pace of play is not overly demanding, but again, ball placement is a must.
